Light skinned vs. dark skinned , are we still having this trifling ass debate??? So of course I’ve been meaning to talk about this video that’s been circling the net for weeks, but just been too Pre-occupied to blog about it. Well, before I venture off into my TIRADE, I guess it would be proper of me to re post it.

I’m just wondering, did the light skinned broad look back at this video and realize how stupid she looked or did she think it was cute? I just do not understand why black women continue to compete with one another and refer back to that old slave mentality (house nigger-Field nigger)to validate why one is better, prettier, or even more desired than the other. Do they not understand that this is the kind of coonary and buffoonery that demonstrates that the old divide and conquer method is still very much present? Ok, Enough with the ideological and deep views honestly this debate over skin pigmentation is dumb as hell, because no one can choose what shade they are. I mean I’m going to go out on a limb and contradict myself like shit but I must admit, light skinned women are often characterized as high saditty but couldn’t we honestly say that about the majority of chicks regardless of their skin tone??? Listen if a man is busted as hell, and we don’t want to speak to you, we will act like we are too good for your ass, b/c deep down inside we really think we are. ALL women want someone who will compliment them not someone who is considered a downgrade.

Men have proven time after time that we cannot trust them to authenticate SHIT. All jokes aside, women need to learn to be comfortable in their own skin (pun-intended), how confident someone is regardless of their reasons behind it should not be of any interest to you. If a woman wants to think she’s the baddest bitch in the game and deserves it all because she’s light skinned, than let her. A woman who wants everything gets nothing but a slice of humble pie and a chick who’s grounded usually gets it all. With that said brown sistahs, stop using lighter women as an excuse for your insecurities. I mean, as long as you think highly of yourself does anything else really matter? Poise & confidence is everything.
